Over the Easter Weekend we will be closed
Woodlands Park Surgery is currently operating a telephone triage system for all patients. Patients can be seen on a face to face basis but will be triaged over the telephone first .This is an attempt to significantly reduce the rapid spread of COVID-19 to our elderly and vulnerable patients in accordance with national guidelines. We will of course still see patients who genuinely need to be seen. We realise that it is hard to accommodate some patients individual needs and expectations and we are constantly trying to manage and improve the situation.
You will NOT be allowed access into the building unless you have a pre-booked face-to-face appointment that has been agreed with a clinician over the phone.
- If you have a pre-booked appointment please wait OUTSIDE, you will be called when we are ready to see you.
- Please use e-consult or the Woodlands Park Surgery website to request all repeat prescriptions, if you do not have access to these facilities then you can post the repeat into our post box.
- All Prescriptions will be sent directly to the pharmacy (please add your nominated pharmacy to your repeat if we do not already know this). You will NOT be allowed to collect the prescription from the Surgery.
- If you would like to book an appointment to speak to a doctor, please call the Surgery or use e-consult (below). You can also make an appointment at the reception desk.
- Baby immunisations are continuing as normal.

We are a family style practice established in 1983 primarily to serve the people of the local community. Our building is a semi-detached property in a residential area on the outskirts of Maidenhead. In addition to providing general medical services we also undertake the continuing education and training of healthcare professionals working at the Practice
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Moved Address ?
If your contact details have changed - phone number or email address , please let us know so we can keep your details upto date.
If you have moved address - let us know as at times correspondence is sent to the address we have registered for you. If you move to an address out side of our registered boundary, you will be asked to re-register at a Practice more locally to you. We can only maintain patient registrations in areas of SL postcode due to allied services - district nurses/midwifery etc unable to manage patients outside of the area. We are also a very small Practice with limited space to maintain services for patients who live locally.
This decision regardless of your circumstances is final and non-negotiable. You will be given 30 days grace to enable you to have time to find a new GP.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from a local GP practice or you can visit a local Walk in centre. After 14 days if you still require treatment you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a permanently patient with that practice.
We cannot always accommodate on the day appointments. You may be asked to return to the practice the next day or directed to another NHS provider.
To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
